Sudbury Bowling Club
Sudbury Bowling Club lies in the heart of historic Sudbury Village, Derbyshire, and is located on the Main Road opposite The Vernon Arms, a former coaching inn and still very much a vibrant local pub.
The club was founded well over a century ago and it continues to be both a location for crown green bowling as well as a place to socialise and relax.
We have an ‘open evening’ most Wednesdays from 5 pm during the season (April - September) and anyone who is interested in crown green bowling, be it casually or competitively, would be more than welcome to drop by and have a go. You can borrow a pair of club bowls if you don't own your own. Please wear flat soled shoes or trainers.
We play competitively in the Burton Vets (Thursdays), Needwood (Mondays), and Uttoxeter (Saturday) Leagues.
